January 1, 2024. First photos of the new year. Not much, but very nice.

December 17, 2023. Here are some photos, not many of birds, of my participation in the 2023 Audubon Christmas Bird Count; Meadow Valley, CA area.

Lots of hawks, a Great Blue Heron way up in a tree, some California Mule Deer, and a small reptile to round it all out. Various dates and locations throughout the last month, although all photos taken around American Valley.

I got a new camera, similar to the one I’ve had for a couple of years, but now with longer zoom. Here are some photos since Oct. 31.
