At Longnose Bridge, Chandler Road junction with Oakland Camp Road, confluence of Greenhorn Creek and Spanish Creek. Western Pond Turtles and some other species photographed August 16, 2022.

Twelve-spotted Skimmer dragonfly, at the end of its days; note very tattered wing edges. Adult dragonflies only live a few weeks on average, with their purpose being to mate and reproduce. Counting their larval and nymph stages however, dragonflies can live several years.
